Creating collages has been an intrinsic expression of mine since I can remember, and have always been one of the most important steps in my work. I have always used collage to bring together different elements from different contexts and create my own narratives.

With these collages, I create the reconnection of our bodies, as women, with nature. I spend hours photographing flowers, plants, and nature, and have a very extensive collection of photographs I've been taking for over 20 years. I've always been attracted to nature, but in a more macro perspective.

I'm captivated by the curves, lines, and expressions found in each flower and plant, particularly the interplay of light and shadow that creates geometric, abstract compositions. These compositions may appear minimal to the eye, but they deeply inspire and move me. Similarly, photographing women, I am captivated by the same things. Creating these collages is my expression of creating an ultimate representation of nature, beauty, grace, and creation.

Each collage serves as a roadmap to a painting.
